Week 9 Study–Journey of Living as a Peacemaker–Part I

Jesus, the Prince of Peace, came to earth to show us what living as a peacemaker looks like. As we take up Jesus’ ways of living, we become part of something much bigger than we could ever imagine, for we are told that there will be no end to the peace Jesus brings—no end.

Through Christ, we are offered peace with God, peace with others, and peace within ourselves. Yet it’s almost impossible to have one without the others. They are intertwined. We are designed not only to live in peace ourselves, but to invite others to do the same—to be a part of increasing God’s peace on earth.

The road map for living as peacemakers is woven throughout the Bible, so let’s thank God that He will guide our feet into the way of peace (Luke 1:79) as we look at His Word.

shone with his glory.
